The Executive Committee (ExCom) of the ASLA Oregon Chapter has had to make significant changes to our activities to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic. Some activities moved online, some were curtailed, and others were shifted. As we look ahead to 2023 and 2024, the ExCom recognizes the opportunity to refresh or refine the activities and services we provide in Oregon.

This survey is focused on local activities and services. We are seeking your feedback to help us prioritize the services and activities that will best serve our Oregon chapter members.

Please tell us about yourself.

ASLA Oregon works closely with U of O Student Chapter on the annual Shadow Mentor Day. In addition, our chapter’s four geographic sections hold activities throughout the year, depending on local preferences.

In March 2020, ASLA Oregon moved all activities online in accordance with public health guidelines. In 2022, some in-person events returned. Monthly ExCom meetings continue to be online and will continue that way since this format works well for our business meetings, is time efficient for participants and eliminates travel time and transportation impacts. As we look to the future, ASLA Oregon is seeking member feedback about preferences for in-person and online activities.
